{31} After Letting Go

It’s not just about letting go.

That decision in and of itself is likely difficult: To let go. To open your palm, choose to release something that you once treasured, or still love, or have deep compassion for, or don’t yet understand. To invite something else into your life - something exciting, a bit scary; a vision not completely formed or realized, something that may exist in your present moment only in the form of hope.

To let go is a courageous, powerful act.

And it is not just about letting go.

It is also about breathing deeply in the midst of somber tears, holding your heart as it aches of loss - moments or years after your release; It is also about trusting, and trusting, and trusting that your intuition was correct and your hope is absolutely possible.

It is existing in a space of simultaneously: to love and to have loved, to understand and disagree, to see what could be and choose otherwise.

It is holding compassion for the old version of yourself that thought for certain something else was the answer. It is embracing confusion and ambiguity when you do not know for certain any answers, any more. It is seeing - even vaguely - your beautiful path proceeding.

Letting go is one step among a journey. Be compassionate with yourself. Trust. (Trust.) & reach for support when needed.

You are doing the best you can, with the information you have. Believe in what is coming; believe in what will be.

Align & experience your full, authentic life.
