Welcome to Yes&! This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for working with Marin Laukka and all Yes& coaching services, workshops, and programs. By working with Yes&, you agree to the following terms:
Umbrella Terms
Service. As your one-on-one coach, I will utilize my advanced training and knowledge in positive psychology, life coaching, and budget coaching to support the clarification and actionable alignment of your values, beliefs, goals, challenges, and wellbeing.
Decision coaching is intended to support the discovery and implementation of a values-aligned decision-making framework that reflects your unique goals and intentions as identified during our initial session for the overall benefit of greater clarity, confidence, and alignment in your life choices.
Money coaching is intended to support the creation and implementation of a positive money mindset and personalized, value-based money system using the software YNAB (You Need a Budget) for the overall benefit of a more empowered, confident relationship with money.
Workshops and speaking engagements are intended to provide engaging, insight-driven experiences that equip individuals or teams with practical tools and mindset shifts - especially around money, values, and decision-making - for the overall benefit of collective empowerment, clarity, and intentional action.
Responsibility. As the client, you are fully responsible to create and implement your own physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, decisions, choices, actions, and results. As your coach, I am not liable for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of services provided. The client and coach acknowledge coaching is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, mental, medical, financial, or other qualified professionals and will seek independent professional guidance for such matters.
Confidentiality. Both coach and client agree to respect the other’s privacy. As your coach, I will not reveal the content of our coaching sessions to anyone without your permission. I will never share any personal financial information I learn as a result of co-creating your budget, and I will take extra measures to maintain confidentiality by never viewing or gaining access to any of your personal bank logins or account information. You are free to share your personal reflections and information from our coaching sessions with anyone, while agreeing to not disclose, reveal, or make use of any confidential information of my own (the coach).
Investment. Your total investment for Yes&'s services is determined at the time of enrollment based on current rates and your agreed-upon package. Your first payment is due upon enrollment to secure your spot as an ongoing coaching client and gain immediate access to the coach's calendar to schedule your first session(s). For ongoing coaching, your remaining payments will be due on the same date of each consecutive month throughout the duration of your coaching agreement. All payments will be paid through Yes&’s Zoho Billings or Invoicing platform, as provided by the coach. Prices are subject to change for future Yes& coaching contracts.
Coaching Sessions. All coaching sessions will take place via zoom or phone, as requested by the client. You will call at the time of our sessions, and we agree to begin and end our sessions on time in honor of our commitment. You have the flexibility to schedule and reschedule sessions at your convenience using my Bookings platform; links will be provided after your initial program enrollment. Rescheduling an appointment is easy with advance notice; if you must cancel or reschedule a session, please do so through the Bookings Scheduling Service and provide at least a 24-hour notice. I will extend you the same 24-hour courtesy.
Contract Period. If you do not sign and return this agreement within 14 days of receipt, coach Marin Laukka shall have no obligation to enter into this agreement, and prices, availability, and terms are subject to change thereafter. The terms and services outlined in this contract are valid throughout your coaching package. Any out of office days will be shared with the client in advance by the coach, with additional openings for sessions and messaging support provided on either side to ensure the client is always fully supported and has ample opportunity to schedule sessions within the contract period. Upon the conclusion of your present coaching commitment, the coach and client may conclude or extend the coaching relationship via updated contract.
Payment Default. You (the client) are responsible for full payment of fees for the entire contracted period, regardless of whether you complete the full services. All amounts paid to the coach under contract are non-refundable regardless of whether you terminate participation. If the client has not paid its invoice or remains in default of any payment owed, the coach may immediately suspend contracted services. This Section shall in no way limit any other rights and remedies available to Yes&, whether arising under this Agreement or at law or in equity.
Waiver. Failure of either party to insist on strict compliance with any of the terms, covenants, and conditions of this agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such terms, covenants, and conditions, or of any similar right or power hereunder at any subsequent time.
Severability. If any provision of this agreement shall be declared by any court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, void, or unenforceable, the other provisions shall not be affected but shall remain in full force and effect.
Limitation of Liability. In the event that the foregoing is deemed to be unenforceable, to the greatest extent permitted by law, you agree that the entire aggregate liability of the coach and sole remedy available to you as the client, in any case in any way arising out of or relating to these services or this agreement, shall be limited to monetary damage that in aggregate may not exceed the amount paid to coach by client in the two (2) month period preceding the date the claim arose.
Governing Law. This contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the internal laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without reference to any conflicts of law provisions.
Service-Specific Terms
Money Month Intensive. Coaching services will be completed via multiple 1: coaching calls, co-created soulwork ("homework"), and email support between sessions for the duration of a one month period. The Money Month Intensive includes one full month of coaching support to create the essential foundation needed for more confident, easy, and simple cash flow decisions personally and professionally: your personalized money flow system. This system will be built throughout the month with me by your side for guidance, and it will be available to you forevermore should you choose to continue using the YNAB system. Your Money Month Intensive will be completed via two 45-minute focus sessions, one 2-hour setup session, and unlimited message support via email for the duration of our one month commitment. You have the option to roll into months two through six of the Money Season Package upon graduating from the Money Month Intensive, assuming coach availability and agreement.
Money Season Package. Coaching services will be completed via multiple 1:1 coaching calls, co-created soulwork (homework"), and email support between sessions for the duration of a six month period. Your first month entails all benefits from the Money Month Intensive - including two 45-minute sessions and one 2-hour setup session to set the foundation for your personalized money system. Months two through six, your remaining five months of support, include one 60-minute coaching session per month plus unlimited email support for ongoing support to implement your system, nourish your new relationship with money, and make confident, value-based decisions in work and life.
Money Graduate Package. Coaching services will be completed via multiple 1:1 coaching calls, co-created soulwork ("homework"), and email support between sessions for a pre-determined 3, 6, or 12-month commitment. As a graduate of the Joyful Budgeting Group Program, Money Month Intensive, or Money Season Package, your foundational budgeting work has already been completed - which included the exploration, creation, and initial coaching required to structure and begin using your joyful budget. This package secures additional months of continued support - which includes as-needed 30-minute 1:1 coaching sessions plus unlimited messaging support to confidently optimize your system and fully enjoy your new relationship with money.
Additional Coaching Packages. Coaching services will be completed via multiple 1:1 coaching calls, co-created soulwork ("homework"), and email support between sessions for a pre-determined 6 or 12-month commitment.
The All-in Package includes 18 total hours of one-on-one coaching with triple-certified coach Marin Laukka, plus unlimited email support for the duration of a six-month period. These hours are to be divided into approximately three 60-minute session per month.
The Monthly Package includes six total hours of one-on-one coaching plus unlimited email support for the duration of a six-month period. These hours are to be divided into approximately one 60-minute session per month.
The Maintenance Package includes three total hours of one-on-one coaching plus unlimited email support for the duration of a six-month period. These coaching hours may be divided into three 60-minute sessions, six 30-minute sessions, or a mix of both to equal three hours total.
Custom Packages may be created upon the verbal and written agreement of coach and client to best support each client’s needs.
Final Terms
Terms of Service Updating Policy. Yes& reserves the right to make changes to this Terms of Service at any time, without notice.
