How to get back on track with goals {My Process for Achieving Goals & Making Future Self Decisions}

When it comes to making present decisions for my future self, goal advice has to go beyond the first step: decide what goals you want.

Why? Because future self decisions may not feel the most fun or obvious in the present moment.

Feeling confident about how to accomplish long term goals takes patience, honesty & a whole lot of self awareness.

Step 1: If I want to make better decisions for my future, I have to make present decisions for my future self - i.e., decide my short and long term goal.

The question I outline in this video (with a lovely ice cream metaphor) is: "What do I want, vs. what do I REALLY want?"

Step 2: Once you've implemented the habit hackers' manual & built a compassionate, confident routine to achieve your goals one daily step at a time, it's time to get PATIENT.

If you're at this stage, pay special attention to the part of this video when I'm driving a car in my living room. (Did you catch the pink socks?)

Step 3: If you're after ambitious goals, you can expect to be on this journey for the long haul.

That means you'll not only want to know how to make decisions for my best self, but also how to get back on track with goals.

Make future self decisions with confidence:
